How to Schedule Your FAA Written/Knowledge Test

The FAA Knowledge Exam is a written test required for all pilot certificates and ratings. It evaluates a student’s understanding of essential aviation topics such as aerodynamics, weather, regulations, navigation, and aircraft systems. The exam is typically taken at an FAA-authorized testing center and must be passed before scheduling the practical flight test (checkride).
At Pilot in Training Flight Academy, we prepare students thoroughly for this milestone through dedicated ground instruction, online study tools, and personalized guidance to ensure confidence and success on test day.
